WSC Managing Director, Stewart Maher commenced his career in the Insurance Industry in 1968. After working for several major Insurers in various departments he realised that without providing relevant, sound advice and service to the client, they were not receiving proper value for the premiums they were paying.

Consequently, in 1972 he and a partner commenced the first general Insurance Brokerage on the Central Coast of NSW. After selling his share to his fellow partners in 1998, Stewart has sought to provide specialist Insurance Products to his valued clients.

With an experienced team and specialist  partners, Stewart Maher formed WSC Insurance Brokers which subscribes to an adamant philosophy that providing sound advice, service and obtaining competitive premiums is the core value that a client places on their Broker.

Also WSC Insurance Brokers, have always placed the emphasis of not ‘selling’ Insurance to clients but rather helping them ‘buy’ the right Insurance to suit their needs. Our Team have a combined 86 years of experience in the industry and that experience simply helps us to do just that.

We provide all types of individual and commercial insurances from single Motor or Home Insurance cover to large scale Business Insurance packages, Liability, Professional Indemnity and Construction Insurance.

In keeping with our strategy of buying the right policy to suit our client’s needs there have been times when conventional policies from Insurance Companies have not met that individual requirement. Consequently, we have created specialist policy schemes of our own to honour our commitment to our clients.
